This is good information and makes sense.

What I'm still confused about is with Multi-Speed motor. My old motor was single speed and had a 825 RPM.
Very old unit so was provided a "rescue" motor with 1075 RPM rating. But it says it is 2-Speed: According to the documentation: "The Multi-Horsepower motors are specially designed to cover a range of applications. The condenser fan motors range from 1/2 to 1/5. 1/3 to 1/6 both at 1075 RPM. 1/3 to 1/6 at 825 RPM."

The wire diagrams shows the Black Wire for High Speed and Red Wire for low Speed. I know how to wire the motor, but my question is, is the Red Wire 825 RPM and Black 1075? I thought it was that simple but from what you wrote above, doesn't seen that straight forward.

Can you "un-confuse" me?

Much appreciated.
